The Oakland Raiders will put quarterback Matt McGloin in the lineup again this weekend against the Tennessee Titans. McGloin started this past weekend against the Houston Texans and did an impressive job with the offense. He led the team to a victory while throwing for 197 yards and 3 touchdowns. He has played in a couple of games this season and has been solid in his outings.

Terrelle Pryor’s injury has given McGloin an opportunity to start and head coach Dennis Allen said that he has earned a second start based on his production against the Texans. If McGloin is able to produce this week against the Titans, then he might be back in the lineup as the starter for a 3d straight week. The Raiders are going to roll with the hot hand. McGloin is the hot hand right now.

Terrelle Pryor may have lost his job for the rest of the season after that injury. It will be up to McGloin to make the most of his opportunity. Ride it out on a hot streak and he could start the rest of the games for the Raiders.

Go Matt! Return to glory and the autumn wind cometh!

Look what McGloin did against a top defense in his first NFL start. Imagine what he will do in his second against a “okay” defense. I have this weird feeling that the Titans will end up getting punched in the mouth come Sunday.
