Notre Dame DT Louis Nix is one of the top draft prospects when he decides to enter the NFL Draft. He is eligible to enter the NFL draft after this college season, but the college year has been sidetracked because of a meniscus injury. He underwent a knee surgery and is done for the year. Could that open up the door for him to return to college for another season?

In Todd McShay’s most recent rankings of draft prospects, Louis Nix was listed as his 6th best prospect. Here are his thoughts on him:

"Analysis: Nix is a disruptive, space-eating two-gap nose tackle. He has ideal size for the position, with a massive lower half, and has above-average lateral agility and quickness for his size. He has excellent snap anticipation and first-step quickness."

If Nix were to enter the draft, he should still draw a lot of interest. It still is possible that the injury will make him slide down the draft a bit, but there are teams that are in need of a space eater like Nix. Star Lotulelei made a slide down the first round last season, Nix could make that same dip.
