A deal has not been done yet, but it is expected to get completed by the Atlanta Falcons and WR Roddy White. White has one year remaining on his current deal and is expected to get an extension in the offseason so that he can free up some cap space and so that he can finish his career with the Atlanta Falcons.

White will be entering his 10th NFL season and will be 33 years old next season. He has been an outstanding receiver for the Falcons, but has been having a disappointing season this year. The Falcons will also have to work out a deal with Julio Jones soon.

In 2009, White signed a 6-year $50 million deal after holding out for a brief time. This contract extension will not be anywhere close to that deal. Hopefully the Falcons can get back to winning some games to close out his career. It definitely has been a good ride.
