Lions WR Nate Burleson Cleared For Contact

Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson has missed a majority of games this season because of a broken arm that he suffered when he tried to save a couple of slices of pizza that were sliding around his car. He got into a single car accident and broke his arm. We all have gone through that madness before. You have to save the pizza! I can’t get mad at Burleson for that.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Burleson has been cleared for contact and should be available to play this weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A Buccaneers team that all of a sudden is on a roll. They have won their last two games. They have only won two games this season, but it is the last two. What have you done for me lately!

Burleson should jump right back into the starting lineup and should be opposite of Calvin Johnson. It is always nice to line up on the opposite side of Calvin. Why would the other defenders even care about you?
