Miami Dolphins CB Brent Grimes signed on with the team for one year and he is having a solid year with the Dolphins in the secondary. Contract talks will start up again at the end of the season for Brent Grimes, but he is making it clear that he is enjoying his time with the Dolphins:

“I like it here,” Grimes said. “I say that a lot in the media, to anybody who asks me. I like the coaches, I like the players, I like the locker room. It’s a cool place, I like it a lot.” – Miami Herald

That is good news for the fans out in Miami that would like to get Grimes back for a few more seasons. The free agency market will heat up and a few teams will be interested in throwing money in his direction. We will then see if he likes the money in Miami better than the money in other cities across the US.

Sign this kid BEFORE free agency… BEFORE the season ends… Quick stat:: Only 1 WR has scored a TD against the Dolphins secondary.. Grimes is a baller!! And actually won a few games for us.. (That INT on Luck/Indy in 4th Qtr is just one).. This team needs a Vet baller CB like Grimes, while the rookies come along… Just give him a 3 yr contract.. Do the right thing Jeff!!!!
