Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno Spotted on Crtuches, Walking Boot

Denver Broncos RB Knowshon Moreon was spotted on crutches and in a walking boot after the epic battle against the New England Patriots on Sunday Night. Moreno took over the game in New England, while Peyton Manning struggled and he finished with 227 yards on 37 carries. He put in a ton of work, but there were many instances in which he hobbled off of the field. He was carrying the whole team on his back.

According to the Denver Post, Moreno suffered an ankle injury and he is expected to undergo an MRI. If he were to miss any significant amount of time, it would be a tough loss for the Broncos. They would likely have to look toward rookie Montee Ball to carry the load on offense.

Moreno was having a career season this year, already running for 824 yards and 9 touchdowns. He also has 342 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown. We will have to wait to hear about the severity of his injury.
