Erase all the doubts on whether Matt McGloin will start against the Dallas Cowboys. McGloin’s performance in the second half against the Tennessee Titans was enough to convince the Raiders that he will be starting next week against the Cowboys.

Terrelle Pryor was active on Sunday and was listed as the backup, but he will remain on the bench behind McGloin. McGloin was 11 of 15 for 155 yards after halftime and he threw a touchdown pass in the 4th quarter to give the Raiders a lead. The defense just wasn’t able to lock it down.

It seems that McGloin has locked in the starting job for a little while. The coaching staff has to see if McGloin can be the future of this team or if he is just a backup quarterback. He should get a few more opportunities as the starter down the stretch.
