Leon Washington Worked Out for Titans on Tuesday

The Tennessee Titans are looking for an answer on their special teams in the return game, so they worked out former New England Patriots KR Leon Washington. Washington also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and the New York Jets. He has been one of the best return specialists in the game and could help the Titans this season.

Washington is an 8 year vet and his main responsibilities have been as a kickoff and punt returner. He also could help as a backup running back. He only has been active for a couple of games this season and returned one kick. Last season he averaged 29 yards per kickoff return and 8.7 yards on punt returns. He returned one kickoff for a touchdown last season.

UPDATE [4:45pm]: The Tennessee Titans and Leon Washington have agreed on a deal.
