Andy Reid: Good Chance Tamba Hali Plays on Sunday

The Kansas City Chiefs were hurting without their outside linebackers in the game against the San Diego Chargers. Both Tamba Hali and Justin Houston were on the sideline to witness the Chargers run up and down the field and light up the scoreboard.

Hali hurt his ankle, but it sounds like he will be available this weekend against the Denver Broncos.

Hali will be needed to chase down Peyton Manning and to provide some pressure. Houston is getting an MRI today and may not be able to play against the Broncos.

The Chiefs have struggled to get sacks in the last few games even with Hali and Houston on the field. Hali will be important for the defense. Will he be able to play at 100% on Sunday?

Either way, the Chiefs are on a little slide and have to face off against the Broncos. They could easily lose their third straight game after starting the season 9-0.

This is not a good timie for a team to banged up but then this is the NFL and every team goes through this, especially this deep into the season. KC needs to suck it up and go out and play some good ball on Sunday. Hopefully, they have learned from their mistakes last Sunday. Even though I am a die hard Chiefs fan and I try to stay positive, I must say I am truly nervous about this game. The Chiefs are a bit into a slide right now and they are probably going to be without Houston and Hali will more than likely not be 100%. I guess we will see if the defense has the character/heart to step it up and overcome adversity. I just read that the Chiefs are 4 1/2 points underdogs at home.

ouch. that is crazy to be that much of an underdog at home. it will be interesting to see if they can get to Peyton and if the Broncos use more of those crossing routes that were burning the Chiefs

It’s not crazy if you watched the game last week vs San Diego. The defense was brutal and it was at home. I’m a Chiefs fan and I wouldn’t even consider betting that line.

I can’t see him playing if he is not better than the next guy in line. I think a nice tape job and some pain meds he is going to be good to go. This game is way too important. Go Chiefs !!!
