Marcus Mariota Will "Be More Of A Finished Product After Next Season"

Oregon QB Marcus Mariota surprised fans yesterday after the school announced that he would be returning for another season. The Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars fans were not too pleased about that announcement, but his return to school should be good for the redshirt sophomore.

Scouts Inc.’s Todd McShay believes that he will “be so much more of a finished product,” after next season. “He has greatly improved his accuracy this season, gotten bigger and stronger and better with making his correct reads — but he can improve all of those areas even more with another season at Oregon,” McShay writes.

Mariota will be a prospect that fans will be watching next season and he will be expected to be the top quarterback taken in the draft next season. He already was expected to be at the top of the draft this season, but staying another season will put the rest of the NFL on a holding pattern until he comes back out. Now, which team will be in need of a quarterback after the 2014 season?
