The Carolina Panthers and the New Orleans Saints are meeting up in New Orleans in what could be the best game of the weekend. They do have competition with that Seattle Seahawks and 49ers game though.

This NFC South battle could determine who will get the first round BYE in the playoffs. This will be their first matchup of the season and will meet up again in a couple of weeks. The Panthers have already proved that they are  a team that others must keep their eyes on. They already have wins against the Patriots and the 49ers.

The Saints are coming off of a bad loss to the Seattle Seahawks. They also had trouble getting out of Seattle on the flight back, but they still should be prepped for the home game against the Panthers. Drew Brees will be looking to lead the offense against one of the strongest defenses in the game. It is going to be a hard fought battle between these two teams.

The Saints are a much stronger team at home. They are going to face another tough defense this weekend. They just were beat up by the Seahawks and now have to go up against Ron Rivera’s defense. These two teams are very evenly matched, but the advantage of being at home should give the Saints the nod to get the win.
