Fresno State’s Derek Carr is quickly rising up draft boards. The draft talk is starting to heat up and Carr’s name should get a ton of attention. He hasn’t even performed in the Senior Bowl yet, but teams are already buzzing about his potential.
Ian Rapoport talked to an NFL GM on Tuesday and they had said “No QB is rising faster than Fresno St.’s Derek Carr.”
Just how high will he rise on draft boards? Will he rise above Teddy Bridgewater as the top quarterback in the draft? Will he rise above Jadeveon Clowney on draft boards?
Teams that are in need of a quarterback at the top of the draft will all be scouting Carr during the Senior Bowl. The Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns all will likely be interested in his performance in the Senior Bowl. A ton of teams need good young quarterbacks and Carr will be one of the top available at draft time.
Where will the young quarterback end up?
