The Miami Dolphins will not bring back Richie Incognito or Jonathan Martin. Incognito will not be brought back onto the team this season and he will become a free agent at the end of the year, per the Miami Herald. The Herald also believes that the team will not bring back Jonathan Martin and they will attempt to trade him in the offseason, if anyone would take him off of their hands.

Teams definitely will approach both players with caution in the offseason. Both players have a bad reputation now and it will hurt them in their negotiation process. Teams will wonder if Martin is motivated to play football.

The Dolphins have found a way to put things together in the late season and are in competing for that final playoff spot in the AFC. They are tied with the Baltimore Ravens right now for that spot. They don’t want any of the Incognito and Martin mess to distract the team while they are competing for that spot.
