Riley Cooper Wants To Return to Eagles

Riley Cooper is a free agent at the end of the season and he has stated that he wants to return to Philadelphia.

“I want to be back here,” Cooper said. “Everyone around here knows that I love the scheme. I think I fit in it well with the bubble screens and the stuff that we do with blocking and being a bigger guy and a bigger target.” – Philadelphia Inquirer

Coopers has been huge for the Eagles offense. He has flourished with Nick Foles taking over the starting job in Philly. He fits well in Chip Kelly’s offense and should be brought back. He is a big receiver and is good at blocking defensive backs on the quick screens and can free up LeSean McCoy for bigger gains down the field.

He picked a nice season to break loose. He should see a nice payday this offseason. I am sure that there will be some other teams that are interested in his services, but he fits in well with the Eagles offense already. Lock him up.
