A number of scouts believe that Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater would be the top quarterback selected in the NFL Draft. That can’t happen if he doesn’t declare for the NFL Draft. There are multiple people that believe Teddy Bridgewater is contemplating returning to school for another season, per John Middlekauf.

That would be a disappointment for a number of teams at the top of the NFL draft. Oregon’s Marcus Mariota already said that he was returning to school for another season. If Bridgewater returns to school, the quarterback class would have thinned out considerably and next season’s class could be filled with some pretty good quarterbacks.

There are a number of teams in the league that are hungry for quarterbacks. The Houston Texans hold the top draft selection right now and could use a quarterback to run their team. The Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars all would love to pick up a good quarterback in the draft. Bridgewater would be a nice addition for any of those teams.
