Matt Cassel Throws for 300+ in Vikings Win
Although the situation up in Minnesota doesn’t look that good for the Vikings this season, I believe that Cassel and the Vikings can still salvage what they have left of this season. Today the Vikes will have to face the 8-5 Philadelphia Eagles at home. The same 8-5 Philadelphia Eagles that have 2nd-most passing yards this season (285.5 yards per game) and 20 total passing touchdowns to opposing QBs. Although Philly’s offense may have one of the best rushers in the league in LeSean McCoy, Cassel still has plenty of opportunity to win this game even without Adrian Peterson. Look for WRs such as Jerome Simpson and Greg Jennings to have huge games as the Vikings defense actually holds steadfast against the Eagles’ potent rushing attack.
