The Houston Texans have been trying to see what kind of future they would have with Case Keenum starting as their quarterback and they put Matt Schaub on the bench. As soon as Gary Kubiak said that he may be trot Matt Schaub back onto the field as the starter, he was fired. Now Schaub looks to be the only option for hte team. Case Keenum will be out this weekend with a torn ligament in his thumb, per the Houston Texans.
Texans fans get the joy of seeing Pick 6 Matt Schaub back on the field for them. It has been a miserable season for the Texans fans and it looks like they will have the luxury of the first overall draft pick in the offseason.
Keenum wasn’t able to win a game for them in any of his starts. He doesn’t look like he will be the future starter for the Texans. Someone new will be under center next year, we will just have to see who they decide to bring in during the offseason. Could they select Teddy Bridgewater or will they bring in someone from free agency.
