New York Giants WR Victor Cruz Done For The Season

New York Giants WR Victor Cruz is done for the season as he is undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery, per Adam Schefter. So much for the Giants chances at the playoffs!

Cruz might as well get that surgery done now and start his rehab sooner so that he will be able to get ready for the following season. This season is lost for the Giants and for Cruz.

Cruz was having a strong season, despite the struggles around the rest of the offense. He finishes his season with 998 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Hopefully the Giants can get him more help on the offensive side of that football. Anything would help. A better running game. A better offensive line. Someone to run some routes on the opposite side. A tight end. The Giants have a ton of work to get done this offseason.

Having a healthy Cruz for training camp next season would be big. Time for him to shut it down and start looking toward next season.
