Wes Welker Out on Sunday for Denver Broncos

Wes Welker will miss the game this weekend against the Houston Texans, per Jay Glazer. He suffered his second concussion of the season a couple of weeks ago and missed last week’s loss to the San Diego Chargers and will be forced to miss out on another game.

Head Coach John Fox said that he is “day to day”, but he still has not been able to practice this week.

The Broncos sputtered a bit with Welker on the sideline on Thursday. They would love to have him back on the field, but I think that the Broncos would be able to beat the Houston Texans without him on the field. Let him rest if he needs it.

It seems to be a little concerning that Welker is still on the sideline after a couple of weeks and that this is his second concussion of the season already. Concussions are a big deal and he needs to pass all those tests before he can step back on the field. Still waiting.
