Eagles-Cowboys Week 17 Matchup Flexed to Primetime

The NFL has announced that they have flexed the Philadelphia Eagles-Dallas Cowboys Week 17 game at AT&T Stadium to primetime. The game will be aired at 8:25 p.m. ET on NBC. The winner of the game will be the winner of the NFC East and will host a playoff game.

This will be the third straight year the Cowboys have played for the NFC East title in Week 17 on NBC. In 2011, Dallas lost to the eventual Super Bowl champion New York Giants, and last year, they lost to the Redskins after Tony Romo threw a costly interception in the 4th quarter, his third of the game, to seal it for Washington.

Hopefully for Tony Romo, he won’t make the costly mistakes he has made the last two years that helped Dallas’s opposition win the game.
