Bill O’Brien To Coach Houston Texans

Nov 30, 2013; Madison, WI, USA; Penn State Nittany Lions head coach Bill O

The Houston Texans have found their head coach. They started their head coaching search before everyone else and have completed their search before everyone else as well. Penn State head coach Bill O’Brien has reached an agreement to become the head coach for the Texans. O’Brien has NFL coaching experience with the New England Patriots and will be coming from that Bill Belichick coaching tree.

O’Brien should bring a good offensive mind to the Texans and should revive that stagnant offense in Houston. The Texans hold the top draft spot also and will likely bring in Teddy Bridgewater to become the starting quarterback for the team.

With Bridgewater and O’Brien added to the team, plus that easy schedule that they will be getting, the Texans will be looking to make a comeback like the Chiefs had made this season. There is a lot of talent on the Texans roster and O’Brien should have a lot of pieces to work with and has a nice chance to be successful. I think it was a great move by the Texans and expect some good things from them next season.
