The deal between Bill O’Brien and the Houston Texans will become official on Thursday when he signs a 5-year deal to become the head coach for the Texans. The Texans will be introducing him to the fans and media on Thursday.

O’Brien will be taking over a talented roster. His offense already has Arian Foster, Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins on it. His defense is led by J.J. Watt. He just needs to find a solid quarterback in the draft or in free agency and he will be rolling.

Teddy Bridgewater just declared for the draft and many people believe that the Texans will select Bridgewater in the first round. The Texans still can sign a veteran quarterback in free agency and select another player like Jadeveon Clowney to add to that defense.

Either way, O’Brien will have a lot of talent to work with and is in a nice situation. He will be looking to turn the team into a contender all over again. It seems that they have the talent to make it happen. Is O’Brien the head coach to lead the team back to the playoffs?
