Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel has officially declared for the 2014 NFL Draft. He signed on with an agent yesterday. Now it is time to let the speculation begin on where he will land in the NFL draft. Which team will jump at the opportunity to take him.

Here are a few teams that could jump at that opportunity.

Jacksonville Jaguars

With the 3rd pick in the draft, the Jaguars would get a celebrity that could sell some tickets and get the fans excited. The Jaguars have a young roster that started playing well toward the end of the year. Young head coach Gus Bradley had his team fighting the whole year and is a good influence on the guys. If Justin Blackmon is ever allowed to get back on the field, then Manziel would have a legit threat at receiver to get the ball out to. Maurice Jones-Drew might not be in the backfield thoughm since he is a free agent. MJD does want to make a return to Jacksonville, but he may get some bigger offers somewhere else. He would be a good veteran presence on the roster for Johnny Football.

Cleveland Browns

Could Manziel be the quarterback to finally end the drought at the position? Would going to Cleveland mean that he instantly becomes a terrible quarterback or injured immediately? The Browns just have some terrible luck at the position. The Browns would love to have someone lock down position for them for years to come. He would be tossing the rock over to Josh Gordon for years to create a sick combination. Gordon might be the best receiver in the league. To get the production that he had with the quarterbacks he had in place has us all wondering what he would do with a real quarterback.

Houston Texans

If the Texans end up with Manziel, it would be because they traded down from the first spot in the draft. Teddy Bridgewater is the top rated quarterback in the draft and should be the selection at number 1 if they want to go with a quarterback. This would be one of the best landing spots for Manziel though. He gets to stay in Texas. He will have Arian Foster in the backfield and Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins to throw to.

Oakland Raiders

Matt McGloin or Terrelle Pryor? Should they add another young name in with the mix? It doesn’t make a ton of sense, but when do the Raiders make sense? Expect them to be in the Michael Vick hunt instead.

Minnesota Vikings

Manziel would have to slide down to number 8 in the draft, but it could happen with all the other quarterbacks entering into the draft. Imagine Manziel with Adrian Peterson and Cordarrelle Patterson and Greg Jennings. There could be all kinds of huge plays happening in Minnesota. He can then take more pictures with Christian Ponder’s wife.

Philadelphia Eagles

There is a wild rumor running around that the Eagles are looking to move Nick Foles to move up in the draft in order to take Johnny Football. Imagine Manziel in the wide open Chip Kelly offense. LeSean McCoy running wild. Manziel running wild. Big throws over the top to DeSean Jackson and Riley Cooper. Could be a ridiculous offense.
