Oklahoma CB Aaron Colvin went down with an injury during Senior Bowl practice and the early word is not good. There is fear that he has an ACL tear. He was having a good week in practice, but this is going to hurt his stock.

Colvin is projected to be drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round by CBS Sports, but those projections could drop with the latest injury. If the injury is an ACL tear, he will be unable to participate in the NFL Combine and will likely miss training camp for his new club. Tough injury for the young man.

Hate to see young men get injured during this time of the year. Right now, they are just trying to make an impression for NFL teams and then something like that happens. Some team will still likely draft him and give him an opportunity, it just won’t be as high as he would have liked.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Hope it’s not true. I’m obviously a big fan of his. If it does turn out to be a torn ACL, I hope San Diego at least takes him with one of their last picks in the draft. Colvin is a great player and deserves to be drafted, even if he doesn’t play this year.
