While I’m worried that Clowney dropping to the Raiders is a pipe-dream, this Mock actually shows (IMHO) a realistic chance of that happening. Here’s hoping it happens this way.

  • Paul Newbold

Lee is not the answer for the Jets at #18. As you pointed out he is not the elite WR Watkins is, and with “so – so” hands, the Jets should pass. He’s struggled with injuries, and the last thing the Jets need is another injury pronged receiver. I think a better option would be to go TE at 18. ALL the Jets are free agent eligible, with none of them really earning a new contract. With Amaro, Ebron, and Jenkins still on the board (according to your mock), the Jets would be foolish not to add an elite tight end to Geno’s weapons! The wide receiver talent is deep this year, while the TE prospects being rather thin.

It’s Ra’Shede Hageman, not Hagman. Just so ya know…
