Gary Kubiak Favorite For Baltimore Ravens Offensive Coordinator Position

Former Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak is the favorite for the Baltimore Ravens vacancy at the offensive coordinator position. Kubiak was fired as the head coach for the Texans in the middle of last season for the struggles on offense with the Texans. QB Matt Schaub regressed and there was no other quarterback on the roster that could step in and find a few wins. The Texans offense

As the Texans head coach, Kubiak relied on the running game a lot behind Arian Foster and Ben Tate. If he were to become the Ravens head coach, he could get the ball to Ray Rice a ton of times and rely on him. Rice will need to get back to his Pro Bowl form in order to help the offense.

Kubiak will rely on the play action passing game and should be good for the Ravens offense. He was offered the position with the Cleveland Browns, but he wanted more control of the offense and they were not going to grant it to him.
