NaVorro Bowman Says It Is “Time For Surgery”

San Francisco 49ers LB NaVorro Bowman posted a photo on his instagram today and it looks like he is in the hospital and is ready to have surgery on his jacked up leg. The caption on his instagram post says “Time for surgery.”

It seems that it is safe to assume that he is having surgery today based on that instagram message.

He suffered a torn ACL and MCL in the NFC Championship game against the Seattle Seahawks on an incredible play that he made near the end zone to rip the football out for a fumble. The injury was one of the ugliest to watch though. It looked serious from the start.

There is no timetable for his return at the moment. We know that Bowman will do his best to get on the football field as soon as he can. The 49ers would love to have him back on the field as soon as possible.
