10. Jared Allen, DE, Minnesota Vikings
With the Vikings in rebuilding mode, Allen is unlikely to return to Minnesota next season. At 31, Allen’s prime years are behind him, but he’s still one of the best pure pass rushers in the NFL, tallying 11.5 sacks this past season.
Allen best fits as a 4-3 end on a team that is in need of QB pressure, but has a solid back seven, because Allen won’t provide much help with containing the edge. I’m sure Allen will want to go to a team with playoff aspirations, so I could see him in a Falcons or Bengals uniform in 2014.
