The NFL Salary cap is expected to rise 5% and go to $130 million this season.

The Jaguars and Raiders must be dancing in the streets with all the money that they have avaialble under the cap now. Jimmy Graham and Greg Hardy will likely get a huge boost in cash flow this offseason as well. The Saints and the Panthers will have a better chance at bringing them back onto the roster with the extra dough that they have under the cap now as well.

The teams that were over the cap heading into the offseason will get a little bit of extra breathing room. The cap just loosened up that belt buckle and the pants have a little bit of extra room to stuff it down a little more.

Can we just get to free agency already. Let’s just get to that part of the season so we can see some activity. The NFL Combines should give us a little bit of a break from the slow action as of late though.
