All eyes were on Johnny Manziel during the quarterback portion of the 40-yard dash. Manziel stepped up to the line and did not disappoint. Some thought that he would be able to challenge with a 4.4 second mark, but he most believed that he would be in between a 4.5 to 4.6 range.

In his first attempt, he unofficially ran a 4.63-second 40 and on his second attempt he cranked it up a notch to run an unofficial 4.56-second 40.

Manziel did not throw at the event and he will save that for a different time. He would feel more comfortable throwing to receivers that he has some familiarity with. Manziel,Teddy Bridgewater and Blake Bortles are all competing to be the top quarterback taken in the draft. Bridgewater didn’t participate in the 40 today and Bortles finished with a 4.81-second 40.

Who is going to be the top quarterback taken?
