The Oakland Raiders liked what they had in Charles Woodson and would like to bring him back for another season. Woodson would love nothing more than to play another season with the silver and black.
“I think he’s a guy we’d like to hopefully bring back. There’s a business side to anything that you do, but I thought from a leadership perspective and really from a playing perspective, I thought he brought a lot to the table.” – Dennis Allen, Raiders Head Coach (ESPN Wisconsin)
Woodson was productive for the Raiders defense last season and brings a veteran leadership onto the roster. He played in all 16 games for the Raiders last season and was able to finish with 97 tackles and forced 3 fumbles and also finished with an interception. He has lost a step, but he makes up for that with his football intelligence. He knows where to be on the football field. He has a nose for the football. He would be a great player for the Raiders to keep on the roster for another season.
