The Philadelphia Eagles have done a good job of late of locking up their own talent on the offensive side of the ball. They locked in Riley Cooper at receiver and a few of their offensive linemen this week and now they have locked in Jeremy Maclin for a year.
WR Jeremy Maclin and Eagles have reached agreement on a one-year deal, per source.

The two sides were negotiating on the length of the deal and it looks like Maclin was able to get the short deal that he was looking for. Maclin wants to prove that he can play the receiver position at a high level and wants to get that payday.
He missed the entire season last year with an injury and didn’t get to cash in on his contract year. He will get a chance to do it this coming season. I hope he will be able to get back on the field and tear it up like he never left.
