There doesn’t seem to be too much to be concerned about for the Denver Broncos, but Peyton Manning is scheduled to have his annual neck exam on Monday, per Jeff Legwold. Manning missed the 2011 season after having neck surgery and there was concern on his ability to return from the injury. He has come back strong and had one of the best seasons a quarterback could have last year.
Manning finished the season with some bad ankles, but there wasn’t too many concerns about his neck. The doctors did clear Manning with a full bill of health at the end of the year though.
Even though there isn’t too much concern, Broncos fans will still be holding their breath until they get that clearance. Manning holds their Super Bowl chances in his hands. They came up short this last season and wouldn’t have even had a chance without Manning running the show at quarterback.
Keep your eyes out for that report. The rest of the league will be watching to see if his neck is good to go.
