Aqib Talib wants to get paid, just like everyone else that is entering free agency. Talib wants to get paid like a top corner in the league (Boston Herald). He believes that he should get that type of money based on his performance in his career.
We will see what other teams think of his performance though. I am sure that some team will want to give him top dollar in free agency. With all the teams flinging the ball around the yard, teams are in desperate need of good corners.
The salary cap went up a good amount and should give some teams some room in order to make that bid for him. It just depends on where Talib wants to play his football next season. Does he want to play football with a contender or does he want to make the most money that he can get and play with a team like the Oakland Raiders. Where does his priorities lie?
