Michael Bennett got his Super Bowl ring with the Seattle Seahawks and now he is looking for that paper. He is looking to get a big deal with some team and there are going to be teams flashing that dough in front of him trying to lure him to their city. One of the teams that are expected to make a “strong pursuit” is the Chicago Bears, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune..

Michael Bennett’s brother, Martellus Bennett signed on with the Bears last season and he has been making a push to sign Bennett onto the roster. The brothers could be reunitied again.

Bennett would be a nice signing for the Bears defense. He would be able to give the team a player that can disrupt the backfield and make some big time plays for the defense. He is a playmaker and he put those abilities on showcase in front of the world during the Seahawks Super Bowl run. He wats that payday now and the Bears might be the team to give it to him.

Free Agency officially begins on Tuesday and teams and players will be able to agree on contracts. Let’s see if Bennett and the Bears make this thing official.
