Jason Babin voided his own deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but it still seems that the team would be interested in brining him back at a better price tag next season. The Jaguars still have a need at the leo position on the roster and would like to have Babin as a veteran that can play the spot. The team was already going to look for more depth at the position with Babin on the roster, but now they will need to ensure that they can get Babin back at a cheaper deal.
According to Mike DiRocco, there is a solid chance that Babin will re-sign with the team. He was scheduled to make $6 million per season for the next couple of years, but he would have to take a pay cut in order to return to the team.
Babin might test the free agent waters first before instantly re-signing with the Jags. There are not a lot of pass rushers available in the free agent market and Babin is one name that teams might be interested in getting.
