Lamarr Woodley Makes Sense in Tennessee

LaMarr Woodley has been released by the Pittsburgh Steelers and he seems that he would be a good fit for the Tennessee Titans. The Titans are flipping their defense from a 4-3 to a 3-4 with Ray Horton hired onto the staff to run the defense. Woodley would be a perfect veteran to bring onto the roster in order to help make that shift on defense, as Evan Silva has suggested.

Woodley still has plenty of talent. He played in 11 games last season with the Steelers and finished the season with 5 sacks. Switching onto a new team with a new coaching staff could rejuvenate the vet.

Woodley and Ray Horton have worked together in the Pittsburgh Stelers defense in the past and they could have a reunion in Tennessee. It seems like a perfect match for the team. We will see if the Titans have interest in Woodley and if Woodley would like to rejoin some former coaches. It does seem like a perfect fit for both sides though.
