Michael Bennett Agrees to 4-Year Deal with Seahawks

There were a ton of rumors of Michael Bennett joining on with different teams this offseason, but he will be staying with the Seattle Seahawks after signing a 4-year deal, per Pro Football Talk.

There were rumors that he would be signing with the Chicago Bears and other teams had shown interest, but in the end he will be staying with the Super Bowl champions. He has a nice role with the defense and will get to be part of the great defense.

The Seattle Seahawks did a good job of keeping him on the roster. The details for the deal still have not been released, but he will be sticking around for 4 more seasons.

Bennett was set to become a free agent on Tuesday and the bidding war would have begun among a number of teams. Instead he stayed in Seattle and we know he didn’t give them a Costco discount to stick around. It likely is the best for the Seahawks and Bennett that he is sticking around with that defense.
