Browns Likely To Go After Emmanuel Sanders

The Clevleland Browns are looking to pick up a slot wide receiver in free agency and they are looking at different options. They were looking at Arizona Cardinals WR Andre Roberts as an option, but it seems that he will be heading to the Washington Redskins in free agency. With Roberts gone, the Browns could shift their focus to Pittsburgh Steelers WR Emmanuel Sanders, per Jason LaCanfora.

Sanders could find the open spaces on the underneath routes with Josh Gordon opening up the field. Gordon still will get plenty of attnetion and it will allow Sanders (or whoever the Browns find to play in the slot) to work with single coverage and find open spots on the field.

The Browns still need to figure out who will be calling the shots under center, but they are looking to find that guy some weapons on the offense first. Sanders could be the guy that they go after now.
