Ravens May Make A Run At Steve Smith if Released

The Baltimore Ravens could emerge as a location for Steve Smith if he is released off of the Carolina Panthers roster, per Ian Rapoport. The Ravens are looking for more options on offense for Joe Flacco and Smith would be a nice receiver to add to the roster.

Smith is good at blocking down the field for the running game as well. He could be a help for Ray Rice in the running game as well.

Smith would be able to stretch the field for the offense and would also be able to pick up tough yards for the offense. He would be a nice complement to Torrey Smith on the offense and would be able to free him up to go deep.

They could have the Smith boys as their receivers picking up big time yards in the passing game.

The Ravens will just have to wait for that first domino to fall. They need the Panthers to release Smith off of their roster.

I wonder how long and how many more botched seasons it will take before the front office admits Flacco is not not a 120+ million dollar quarterback. We are bleeding talent we need because he is not capable . He is a good quarterback but not a great quarterback let alone “Elite”
