Brandon Weeden Will Be Released From Browns

The Cleveland Browns are releasing 2012 first round draft pick Brandon Weeden on Monday, per Mike Silver. Every team in the league must be in line waiting to get after him when he becomes a free agent.

Expect teams to line up with trade offers for the quarterback like they were doing with Darrelle Revis. The reporters will keep their eyes close on the situation to see if he gets traded or if he gets released for all the wolves to prey on.

Brandon Weeden will be released.

The experiment with Brandon Weeden finally will be coming to an end. It was a mess before it even started. Not sure why the team decided to go after Weeden in the draft, but it was another bust of a selection for the Browns at the quarterback position. The Browns still don’t have a quarterback to play the position at this time, but they will be moving on from the Weeden mess.
