Ravens Quite Interested in Julian Edelman

The Baltimore Ravens just re-signed Jacoby Jones to a deal to keep him in a Raven uniform and it seems that they have interest in adding Julian Edelman to the team on offense, per Jason LaCanfora. The Ravens learned how much they missed having that possession receiver after they traded Anquan Boldin away.

Edelman would be a nice fit for the team to play the slot receiver. Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones can be deep threats on offense and Edelman can pick up all the yards with the routes underneath. It would be a perfect combination for the team.

The New England Patriots still want to bring back Edelman on the roster, but they are going to have to go into a bidding war with the Ravens in order to keep him around. Wherever Edelman signs, could determine where Carolina Panthers Steve Smith goes if/when he gets released off of the Panthers roster. Let the dominoes fall.
