Cortland Finnegan Visiting Miami Dolphins on Friday

Cortland Finnegan will be visiting the Miami Dolphins on Friday, per Albert Breer. The Dolphins are looking for more help in their secondary and they are thinking about kicking the tires on Finnegan. Finnegan has not had a couple of good seasons with the St. Louis Rams and was getting paid too much for his production. He was released by Jeff Fisher and the Rams and is available for the Dolphins to kick the tires on.

THe Dolphins lost their starting corner Nolan Carroll to the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency and would like to fill the gap with someone with experience. Finnegan is a player that can give the team some quality reps at the position for a while.

Finnegan won’t be able to command a huge contract with the performance he has had in his past couple of seasons, so he will be coming at a cheap price. The team will be hoping to get him to perform up to the high standard he set with the Titans.
