Raiders Sign Lamarr Woodley To 2-Year Deal

The Oakland Raiders are adding Lamarr Woodley onto their defense. He has signed a 2-year deal with the Oakland Raiders that can be worth $12 million, per Adam Schefter.

The Raiders just added Justin Tuck onto their defense and are looking to get after the quarterback a lot more in the coming season. It would have been nice if the team was able to keep Lamarr Houston on the roster, but they will have to work with Tuck and Woodley instead.

The Raiders have to face Peyton Manning and Philip Rivers twice per season and they can fling the ball around. They will be looking to get a little more pressure on those two quarterbacks in order to force some turnovers.

The two pass rushers should be able to give the Raiders a little more toughness in the pass rush. Now for the other issues on the roster. The Raiders still have a lot of room to work with under the cap.

He’s played both. But on the radio today he said he could switch back to the other one in just three days. I like this guy, seemed really confident in the radio interview today.

Wow, what’s Oakland thinking. Changing the D scheme? Weird.
