The Oakland Raiders have added some talent on offense by signing former Green Bay Packers WR James Jones to a contract, per Adam Schefter. Jones was the top wide receiver available and the Raiders needed some help at the position. Jones should give the team a nice threat out wide on offense.
Jones signed to a 3-year deal. Reggie McKenzie brings over the former Packers player to the bay.
The team will need to find someone to get him the football. Terrelle Pryor and Matt McGloin were the team’s starters at quarterback last season, but there should be new competition for the starting job again in training camp.
Teddy Bridgewater could be an option for the Raiders in the draft or Matt Schaub‘s name has also been mentioned.
Jones will be a nice threat on offense and will give the team a veteran that can find the open space and stretch the field. He will be good for Rob Streater and Denarius Moore on the Raiders offense.
