Ravens Will Unveil Ray Lewis Statue Before 2014 Season

The Baltimore Ravens are planning on unveiling a Ray Lewis statue outside of their stadium before the 2014 season, per Jeff Zrebiec. That didn’t take that long at all. He was out of the league for one season and they are erecting a statue of the great linebacker.

Why not recognize the greatness of Ray Lewis now though? Why would you have to wait in order to give him his due diligence?

Ray Lewis is one of the best players to step onto the field and the best to put on the Baltimore Ravens uniform. He has helped bring championships to the Ravens and will always be remembered by fans.

After 13 Pro Bowls, 2 Super Bowl Championships and 2 Defensive Player of the Year awards, the Ravens want to celebrate him with a statue that all will see. I just wonder what kind of pose he will be in for the statue. Will he be doing his signature dance?
