Jared Allen’s Faith In Jay Cutler Part of Reason He Signed with Bears

Jared Allen’s faith in Jay Cutler was part of his reasoning on why he signed with the Chicago Bears, per Ian Rapoport. He believes in Cutler to bring him to the big dance. Not everyone can say that. It seems interesting that he would rather trust in Jay Cutler to bring him to the big game  though over Russell Wilson bringing him there. Russell Wilson did just pull it off with the Seattle Seahawks, but Allen must be thinking that lightning can’t strike twice.

Whatever the REAL reasons on which Allen signed with the Bears, we know that he will be teamed up with some pretty solid defensive ends on the roster. Lamarr Houston just signed on with the Bears and should give the team a nice combination coming off of the ends. Willie Young re-signed with the Bears as well and the three of them should form a wicked combination coming off of the edge to defend for the Bears.

Allen believes in Cutler.

I think Allen is honest when he says he believes in Cutler. Contrary to popular belief of Cutler haters….he is viewed as one tough and dangerous QB in the league by other players. Given the weapons Chicago has on offense and Trestman’s guidance….Cutler has shown why. When you add a defense that is shaping up to be this formidable…Jared Allen is looking at the overall picture of a team that is quickly moving to not only be a favorite to win the division, but that has to considered as a very serious player for the Super Bowl.
