Ryan Clark, 34, has elected to sign with the Washington Redskins. Clark is a former Redskin and one time pro bowler. The addition is a much needed one, as the Redskins sported one of the worst secondaries in football last year.
Adding Clark is a good move for Washington. They have a few young safeties that could really benefit from his knowledge and leadership. Knowledge and leadership isn’t all that Clark brings to the table, though. He also brings good tackling and is capable of grabbing a few interceptions per year.
Redskins agreed to terms with ex-Steeler safety Ryan Clark, per club source. He'll be coming in shortly.

I like the move. Safety was a very problematic position for the Redskins last season. This move solidifies the position for this year, at least.
