ESPN Will Televise NFL Wildcard Game, First Playoff Game in 35-Year History

ESPN has finally secured a NFL Playoff Game onto their lineup, it will be the first time in it’s 35-year history that the network has secured an NFL Playoff game, per Adam Schefter. The NFL Playoffs had been dominated by FOX, CBS and NBC, but this time it will be making it’s way onto cable television.

It took a long time for the sports network to finally lock one of these games up, but with the network breaking the seal this season, we are sure to see more to come in the future.

ESPN will be hosting one of the Wild Card matchups in the coming season. We still are not aware of which conference the network will be showing to their audience.

The NFL will be releasing their schedules this week, so we can see what the other networks get for all of their prime time games this season.

Football keeps getting closer. I can almost taste it. We are almost there.
