Richard Sherman has been the talk of the town for the last couple of seasons because of his phenomenal play and his big mouth. He isn’t afraid to let everyone know that he is the best corner in the league and now he is looking to get paid like it. He has argued his point many times and he showed his value when the team went into the playoffs and won the Super Bowl.

His contract is running up soon and the Seattle Seahawks have been working on a deal in order to keep him on the roster for the long haul. According to Jason LaCanfora, the two sides are closing in on a deal that will make Sherman the highest paid corner in the league.

They are hoping to have the deal done before the NFL Draft. The team will not let the best corner in the league enter free agency, they are just going to get the deal done now and make him the highest paid corner in the game.
